Selection Process

The Environmental Systems Analysis and Modeling Graduate Program’s follows the State’s Attorney’s Office’s guidelines regarding transparency and observation of applicant non-identification throughout the admission process.

Traditionally, the selection process has consisted of each applicant’s resume analysis, followed by a research project proposal and memorandum analysis. The process takes place at a distance, allowing for national coverage without favoring applicants residing close to UFMG. The geographical diversity of applicants has contributed to the maintaining and improving research projects of national and international scope. The project offers 22 seats.
