On this page, animated maps of corn and soybean logistics can be viewed separately for the Current, 2035, and 2035 (All Investments) scenarios. In the first two scenarios, each map represents the addition of one of the South American Integration Routes, resulting in 14 maps for each scenario: seven for corn and seven for soybeans. The 2035 (All Investments) scenario encompasses the operation of all routes, both with and without the complete Transoceanic Railway, resulting in four additional maps: two for corn and two for soybeans.
The Current Scenario represents the existing and operational logistics infrastructure. The other scenarios were built incrementally from this baseline. As railways and South American Integration Routes are individually added to the network, their effects can be isolated. Accordingly, the visualizations are divided into:
- Baseline Scenario;
- Guianas Island Route;
- Amazon Route;
- Rondon Quadrant Route;
- Capricorn Bioceanic Route;
- Porto Alegre–Coquimbo Route;
- Transoceanic Railway (Bioceanic).
For each subdivision, the user selects which product’s logistics they wish to view: corn or soybean.
The 2035 scenario family follows the same logic as the Current Scenario, under the assumption of expanded port capacity. Each railway and South American Integration Route is individually added to the network, enabling the following visualizations:
- Baseline (considers only the expansion of port capacity);
- Guianas Island Route;
- Amazon Route;
- Rondon Quadrant Route;
- Capricorn Bioceanic Route;
- Porto Alegre–Coquimbo Route;
- Transoceanic Railway (Bioceanic).
As its name indicates, the 2035 (All Investments) Scenario considers the operation of all investments associated with the South American Integration Routes, distinguishing between two horizons: one in which the Transoceanic Railway is fully completed and another in which it is not. Thus, the available visualizations are:
- All Investments;
- All Investiments plus the Transoceanic Railway.
