On Wednesdeay, July 15th, CSR-UFMG received the visit of the Director of Information Technology, Carla Lima Reis, and Cabinet Advisor, Andréa Coelho, from the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability of Pará (SEMAS-PA). The visitors met with our researchers and watched a brief presentation about the CAR 2.0 project.

On the occasion, the visitors and the researchers discussed the continuation of the cooperation agreement to develop traceability technologies to the state supply chains (SeloVerde PA) and the automatic validation of the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR 2.0). CSR will continue to invest in mapping with high resolution satellite images for the state and in improving the transparency of Pará’s production.
