On January 19th, 2021, CSR researcher Argemiro Teixeira gave a lecture to students of Landscape Analysis discipline of the Environmental Engineering bachelor’s degree course at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE).
The lecture “Tools for analysis and management of the landscape” highlighted the use of Dinamica EGO in the analysis and management of the landscape, in addition to the potential application of the software in modeling changes in land use and occupation.
The main CSR research themes were also presented along with how studies involving landscape ecology and simulation of future scenarios can support the discussion of more effective public policies.

The CSR and the Spatial Development Program of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Mozambique developed the spatially explicit Bayesian model of vulnerability to COVID-19 for the country.
